When I was a child growing up in Holland, I sold tulips door-to-door on my bike. I have wonderful memories of this and these memories have stayed with me my whole life.

When I arrived in Vancouver in 1989 the beautiful, but empty streets gave me both joy and sadness. I loved the city, but the streets needed life! In my opinion, they needed FLOWERS. I imagined flower kiosks all through the city, brightening every corner as they do in Holland.

This is what sparked the Frans’ Flowers vision. For the past 20 years, we have successfully operated flower kiosks all throughout downtown Vancouver, enhancing the already beautiful city streets.

Now, I’ve decided it’s time to share my knowledge and passion of flowers with you. We are looking for outstanding franchise partners that are success oriented and financially motivated. The Man Who Started it All.

Frans has established a unique relationship with local growers to help him create special orders. The orders are placed over the phone or online and then picked up in-person in the Fraser Valley. When a request comes in for flowers not available locally, they are sourced from out of the country. For example, Roses, carnations and specialty greens can be brought in on a direct import from South America.
